Welcome to Redemption Church

We’re a group of people in Roswell, Ga committed to becoming an ever-expanding community for whom Christ is all. We’re currently meeting Sundays at Ragamuffin Music Hall, 10:30am.

Paul’s vision for the church in Colossians 3 has deeply shaped our own vision. There Paul describes the new community of believers, the community purchased by Christ, as a group of people that had put off the old self and put on the new self. And as a result of that transformation “there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all” (v.11).

We wondered if such a community could exist today: a Christ-family that loves God and treasures Him above all things. And because we take the bible seriously, we decided that it must be possible, that God wouldn’t have preserved these words for us if He didn’t intend for all His people at all times to show them true. 

So we’re not striving to be novel or fresh. Our desire is to know Christ and the power of his resurrection, to share in his sufferings, and to become like him in his death (Phil. 3:10). God-willing we will be that kind of people.
